Seibukan jujutsu
Seibukan Jujutsu is a martial art developed to meet the self-protection and self-development needs of modern times. You learn self-defense against armed and unarmed, single and multiple assailants. The effective and practical applications of this martial art are preceded by learning and using: pressure points, kicks, and strikes to the body as distractions, or to appropriately control and subdue an attacker.
Techniques of escapes, throws, chokes, grabs, joint locks, and ground defense are taught, as well as weapons such as guns, knives, ropes, swords, long and short sticks are used to learn disarming techniques.
This art is developed on its unique philosophy of Awareness, Assessment, Action™. Through the Seibukan Jujutsu, you learn to increase your awareness in your daily situations, make a clear assessment, and take appropriate action.
You will learn to set boundaries and proclaim your comfort level in mentally and physically challenging situations. Seibukan Jujutsu was developed by Julio Toribio Kancho.
